When getting ready to release one of the first shoes, I wasn't sure what color to pick. My grandma, the person who always believed in me, had just passed from ovarian cancer. I knew I had to honor my grandma, so that's how I settled on the teal color, representing the ovarian cancer ribbon. This was how I got the platform for our brand, blending innovation and philanthropy. Our first donation was to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance. A year later, we are still committed to those principles and I hope it makes my grandma proud. Since then, with each launch, we ve donated to a different charity that is represented with the different color ways. Our customers feel proud as they train, knowing that their premier lifting shoe is helping to support a noble cause.
